We want to say a big thank you to our loyal clients, our outstanding team and the community of Amersham for helping us to achieve a place in the NHF Awards finals for Best Independent Salon.
You have all played an important part in helping us to be recognised as a salon at the heart of our community. The town of Amersham has been fantastically supportive in the growth of our business and since our re-launch earlier this year, the salon has established itself as a social space where people come to meet, work, relax, eat and drink. We have worked hard to provide services that are inclusive, convenient and accessible to our clients and the wider community. Seeing so many of you return, and so many new faces, is a huge motivator to our team and reaffirms our ethos ’never about us, always about you’.
Salon Director Dawn Montgomery says, ‘we are delighted to have made the finals in the most coveted category of Best Independent Hair Salon. This is the third awards final we have been shortlisted for this year, but it wouldn’t be possible without the ongoing support of our clients and community. Whilst our focus is on providing convenience and excellence to clients, it is also important to us that we give something back to the community in which we thrive. We sponsor the local rugby team, Amersham and Chiltern Rugby Club, and hold social events at the salon to help raise money for the Hospice of St Francis, providing a great chance for clients and community members to come together and socialise. A lot of what we provide in the salon, in terms of services and hospitality, has been developed around the needs of our clients and community members. We’re immensely proud of that.’
There will be an awards ceremony in London on 17 November 2019. We’re hoping the industry will give Amersham a firm place on the map – fingers crossed!
